Co-living

Spelkollektivet offer a co-living solution that provides a unique and innovative living environment for game developers. The business model is a subscription-based service where game developers rent a bedroom and a desk in the co-living and co-working spaces designed specifically for their needs. The co-livings space provides a comfortable and welcoming environment for game developers, with communal areas including kitchen, lounge areas, and gym. By creating a vibrant community of passionate game developers, Spelkollektivet aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and creativity, leading to the development of new games, new technologies, and new business opportunities.

Who is this for?

Spelkollektivet is intended for game developers who are looking for a supportive and creative community in which to pursue their passion for game development. The low rent and all-inclusive amenities makes Spelkollektivet designed to be an affordable option for those who might not have the financial resources to rent their own office space or live in a high-cost area with all the desired amenities.

The emphasis on building a community of like-minded individuals who can support and learn from each other makes Spelkollektivet for people who value collaboration, shared experiences, and the opportunity to form connections with other developers from all over the world. The fact that everything is included, from meals to laundry detergent, makes Spelkollektivet designed to be a space where developers can focus on their work without worrying about the practicalities of daily life.

Spelkollektivet aims to be an ideal fit for indie game developers who are looking for a supportive, affordable, and creatively stimulating environment in which to pursue their passion for game development. We expect everyone who's staying at Spelkollektivet to embrace our "5 BE's" which are as follows:

BE INTERESTED - in game development and in people’s journeys.

BE SUPPORTIVE - show up and engage.

BE KIND - assume the best in people’s behavior and forgive mistakes.

BE CONSIDERATE - of others and the spaces we share.

BE ACCEPTING - everyone is welcome here with their weirdnesses and flaws.
